Now I have to buy a belt so I can wear it. Yes, I did finish the Burning River 100 Mile Endurance Run (actually its 101.1 miles). I finished in 29:39:16, good enough for 2nd to last place, but hey, I also beat the 90 or so runners that didn't finish. The course, volunteers, weather, race director, all you virtual pacers, and most importantly my brother who was my awesome real life pacer, were all incredible. I promise a full race report, but it will be several days because once again, work is interfering with life and there is ice cream I must eat.

Well, I don't know if I saw you or not. The Enthusiast and I were down on the Towpath, starting at Memorial Parkway, at 7:30 a.m. for my short 18-miler. Cheered on all the runners we saw. Congrats and cheers!
Fantastic - congratulations!!!
So awesome! Congratulations! Can't wait to read all about your experience.
Congrats on a great accomplishment! Very inspiring!
Thought about you all weekend! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy that well deserved and hard earned ice cream.
Can't wait to hear all about it!
My hero! Well done!
Congratulations on the most gutsy effort I have ever seen. You dug down deep when it counted. It was my pleasure to be there for your first 100 and it turned out fantastic. What a ride!!
I like the pic of the bib # and buckle - I know how the blood stain got on the corner of the bib ;)
Congrats again,
John
yay, yay, yay! good for you! So awesome and so proud of you and all your hard work!
Can't wait for the full report. Congratulations! That's just fantastic.
WOW! Congratulations! Looking forward to the race report!
Congratulations!
You definitely need to hunt for a proper belt now!
You are a rock star! Congratulations, savor the accomplishment.
Congrats! I know how it feels to cross the line of a 100 miler almost last (well, dead last, my first time) and a year later... I've almost forgotten the bad stuff.
I'll check back for the full report.
How awesome! That is a sweet buckle. I've been looking at Burning River for a while but had kind of half been waiting to see if Misty went to this distance. I got second to last place at Javelina last year. It was a huge let down, I so wanted the last place award, a guy napping under a cactus with a big sombrero. Oh well, maybe next time.
Thanks for the well wishes for Leadville. I can't wait to get started.
"but hey, I also beat the 90 or so runners that didn't finish."
That's all you need, Darlin'.
And now Baboo is pointing me to this race. Thanks for that. DOWN BOY!
HUGE congrats! That's such an amazing feat!
Congrats on your 1st 100!!! Really enjoyed your RR. Good luck at JJ100 too.
